What a fun day! We started our Thursday with our social studies art project where we are learning about natural resources in Alberta through art! Please ask your student about different crops grown in Alberta.
In gym, we played an awesome winter themed game!
In word work we continued to brainstorm homophones!
In math we did a show what you know on area, multiplication, subtraction, and addition. We also applied our skills to solve word problems.
In our shared reading of the Wild Robot, we continued to discuss new vocabulary, make predictions, and visualize what we are hearing to help build our reading comprehension! Ask me what the words we have talked about from the Wild Robot mean...
- nimble
- looming
- murky
- dense
- jutted
- Dreary
In literacy stations, students read books about time online and predicting which animal will win when reading the Who Would Win series. Some students read about endangered animals with Ms. Irvine
