January has flown by! We started off our morning with some peer editing. Here are some photos of us helping our classmates check their work for the criteria.
In gym it is our last week of basketball. We had so much fun!
In word work students are working on using the word wall to help them spell. They are also practicing the suffix -ing.
In math, we completed a show what you know to demonstrate our graphing skills!
Then, we looked a little bit closer at factors.
In science, students started designing their simple machines project! They are using recyclable or reusable materials to create their machines. Ask your student what materials they need to create their machines. Below is a list of items we brainstormed as a class. If you are able donate a few items please send them with your student...
- marble
- paper or plastic cups
- clean plastic bottle
- cardboard
- popsicle sticks
- paper towel or toilet paper rolls
- pom poms
- string / twine

- small CLEAN plastic containers (yogurt sized)

- kleenex box
Students are also bringing their personal list of items home with them!
