 Good morning!

Below is a video link to a speech-language pathologist pronouncing the 44 phonemes (sounds) of the english language! Please check it out with your student if they could use extra support in reading, writing, or correctly pronouncing words.

We started our day with a sharing circle in which students thought deeply about inclusion and shared their thoughts on how to make a classroom environment where everyone feels like they belong. 

We also finished our read aloud book, The Wild Robot.

Today in art we learned about Roy Henry Vickers and then did an art project inspired by his work. We are almost done! Students learned about using line and sillouette to create art. They were able to experiment with different colours of paint.

We also had a finish up block in which students finished their fossil art from the other day!
