English Language Arts (ELAL):
In writing students worked on a graphic novel. Last week they planned their novel and this week they wrote and shared their novels. Students focused on correctly using dialogue, creating a beginning with a hook, and ensuring they have a thoughtful conclusion. In word work students learned about the suffix "y."
