ELAL / S.S. :

This week students practiced their oral stories for recording after they finished their felt story vines. Students look forward to you seeing them at conferences. Did you know that oral story telling is a large component of the ELAL and Social Studies curriculum?

We also practiced writing with dialogue in preparation for our graphic story writing pieces.

Math:

We are learning how to divide really BIG numbers. Please see the homework practice that your child brought home for completion. Your support at home is greatly appreciated in this skill.

We are learning about REALLY tiny numbers too: fractions and decimals.
