Busy times this week!

On Monday, we went to Telus Spark! Here is a visual recap of the day. Thank you to those that shared their photos with us.

Lights....Shadows....Exploration....and the best part was having awesome parent volunteers!

On Tuesday, we welcomed Elder Frank who taught us about Medicine Hat, Nose Hill Park, traditional Indigenous clothing, the symbolism on much of the clothing, and the various eagle feathers that are in a head dress piece.

We worked on our Social Studies famous person research, created procedural writing (how to) tasks, and learned how to do a thoughful art critique.

As June approaches, we plan to learn more on the land by visiting our "sit spots" and learning from our local outdoor spaces.
